Clip ("Clip," "the service," "we," or "us") is a personal video-editing tool that uses AI to turn long-form recordings into short-form clips, and lets you publish those clips directly to your own TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram accounts. By using Clip, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Clip. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Clip is a personal tool you run to process your own video content and manage your own social media accounts. There is no multi-user account system — Clip does not create an account for you on its own servers. Instead, you connect your own TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram accounts via OAuth so that Clip can publish content on your behalf, at your direction.
You retain all ownership rights to the videos, clips, and other content you upload to or create with Clip. By using the service, you grant Clip a limited license to access, process, and store your content solely for the purpose of operating the service on your behalf (for example, transcribing, editing, exporting, and publishing your clips). This license ends when you delete the content.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload and publish, and for ensuring you have the necessary rights to use and distribute it.
Clip uses third-party AI services (including OpenAI and AssemblyAI) to transcribe audio, detect highlights, generate captions, and create voiceovers. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your intended use. You must review all AI-generated content before publishing or relying on it. Clip makes no guarantee that AI output will be accurate, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and you are solely responsible for any content you choose to publish.
Clip integrates with the following third-party services. Your use of Clip in connection with these services is also subject to each provider's own terms and policies:
You agree not to use Clip to:

We will review and respond to valid complaints.
Clip is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or features in the future; any such change will be communicated before it takes effect.
Clip is provided without any guarantee of uptime or availability. Features may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice.
Clip is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clip and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. You agree to indemnify and hold Clip harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Clip at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Clip shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly. Continued use of Clip after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
